Participation Criteria

This is a system which enables students to determine their class participation grade for a given week. A maximum of 30 points can be earned per two class-day week.  The student will receive a zero in case of absence during the whole week. The three categories according to which students should evaluate their participation are:

Use of Spanish
Preparedness
Interaction: In-class work, including both whole class work and any group work as well

The following chart represents the points that may be earned in each of the three different categories.
