Paper # 2 – Process (150 points)

Assignment: Write a process essay explaining how to do or make something. The purpose of this type of essay is to clarify the steps in the procedure so that the reader can re-create the steps and the results. As you introduce each step you must explain why each step is necessary. Make sure your explanations are logical, easy-to- follow, and complete. Each paragraph of your essay should treat one major stage of the procedure. The steps should be presented in chronological order. Define any terms that might be unfamiliar to your readers.

Audience: Describe your audience and explain why they might need the information you are going to supply.

Length: Two to three pages double-spaced + visuals.
