Introduction:

The site supplements the laboratory component of Biology 108 (Biology of Plants). Lab handouts and answer keys will available online. The syllabus is available as a pdf file (click here)

Access and Downloading:

The files provided may be viewed from inside this browser and printed directly. Alternatively they can be downloaded to your computer or disk in which case they can both printed and edited and will be directly available for your future use. In either case, right or left click on the file link and select the appropriate option, i.e., “save target” or “open file”.

Announcements

12-05-06 - Answer keys for the lab homework assignments are posted. Good luck on the lab practical (12/7/06)

11-2-06 - The class data for the antimicrobial experiment is noww available. See the table of lab data set links, below.

10-25-06 - The handout for tomorrow's lab on plant antimicrobials has been posted. Please follow the correct link in the 'Lab Handouts' table and print a copy for tomorrow's lab.

8-24-06 - I have created a file with some brief tips related to the taxonomic key assignment. Click here to access. For next week's lab (8/31/06) you will need to print copies of both the Plant Ecology and Genetics Experiment handouts (see links table below).

8-21-06 - Welcome to the Fall 2006 version of the Biology of Plants. For this week's lab on Plant Taxonomy you will need to print the first three lab handouts from the links table provided below (Plant Taxonomy, Woody Plant Characteristics, and Plant Taxonomy Data Form). The lab dates for the other lab handouts is also indicated.
