Welcome to Amy Carter's Web Page
Under Construction--Danger Danger
I am rather new at this "WEB PAGE STUFF" so bear with me.
So you want to know a little about me.  Well, not much to tell.  I work at Indiana University/Purdue University at Fort Wayne as a Help Desk Operator.

I guess you could call me a computer geek.  Going on my 12th year, you could say I really must like what I do, and.......I do.

I am married to IPFW's Network Systems Administrator(jack of all trades), John Carter.  He is the King of all computer geeks.  You can ask him just about anything and you will wind up with more information than you asked for.  However, I still can't convince him that he is the Shell Answer Man.
Together, John and I are trying to raise our 13, going on 18 years old, son, Ian.  He is extremely smart and intelligent, but boy, oh boy, does he ever try to talk his way out of everything.  I fear that he will grow up to be a politician one day.  He looks, talks, and acts just like his Dad.  Hopefully, he will follow in his footsteps someday.  We take Ian just about everywhere with us.  We love family vacations and travel a lot.

Gizmo, may he rest in peace, our 16 year old yorkie past away on us the week after Thanksgiving in 2001.  Coming soon is a web site dedicated to him in his honor.  He was my best friend and true companion.  The Carter house just has not been the same with him gone.  Meantime, we have just added to our family 2 more yorkies that were born April 5th, 2002.  They are sisters and were the only two born in this litter.  Being a softy, John decided that we could not break up the family so we are getting both of them.  They will be coming home June 7th.  We named them Gidgit and Nikita.  Here they are at 7 weeks old as of 5-19-2002, and 13 weeks old as of 7-12-2002.

Some of my friends Web pages:
