A. The most effective aspects of this course were:

Everything that we learned was very effective even the information that was not out of the book or on the syllabus.

The most effective aspects were the study sessions which helped out a lot and the class lectures which not only helped but were the most interesting.

The study guides helped a lot for tests.

Powerpoint explinction (sic) of material. Study guides were really good.

Dr. D was very thorough & in depth.

The way the information was presented to us.

The thing that was most helpful to me were the study guides and the study sessions.

The lectures. I loved coming to the psychology lectures. They were all interesting and definetly (sic) held my focus.

The study guides helped to know which material to study.

The class was taught very well. I learned a lot. Very easy to comprehend.

Unique demonstrations - i.e.: when talking about schizophrenics hearing voices, having schizophrenics hearing voices, having four students read out of different books @ same time made a non-schizophrenic understand what its like. Powerpoint presentations that could be downloaded off internet - easier note taking - could say more attn. to presentation rather than just writing.

The study guide that was put out for each of the tests was very helpful.

B. The least effective aspects of this course were:

The least effective aspects were the research participation activities. I thought a couple of them were fun but there was a memory one that was horrible!

C. The best ways to improve this course would be to:

Not having it @ 8:00 am!

Have the same amount of study sessions and maybe show more movies because they really helped to piece all the information together; especially the one we watched on schizophrenia.

As a class do an experiment.

Provide more examples.

It was a great class, overall!

This was my first college class and I=m really glad that it was such an enjoyable experience. Not only did I enjoy you as a professor but I really found the information interesting.
