Book: Calculus - An Applied Approach, 7th ed. by Larson and Edwards.

Course Description: I shall cover chapters 1-5. The main content of the course is devoted to functions and graphs, limits and continuity, derivatives and applications, and integrals.

Grading: There will be three tests (100 pts each), three quizzes (20 pts each), and Homework: (total 50 pts). The grade for the course is based on the scale:

A 360 - 410 pts, B 320-359 pts; C 280-319 pts; D 240-279 pts; F below 239 pts.

Make up tests or quizzes (unless proper excuse is provided) will be on 90% bases (a score of 80 pts will be recorded as 72 pts).
