Course description: MA
351 is an introductory course in Linear Algebra and its Applications. I
will cover Chapters 1-7 from the book. The topics are systems of linear
equations, matrices, determinants, vector spaces, and eigenvalues
and eigenvectors. Different applications will be discussed. As a tool
we shall use the Computer Algebra System Maple.
There will be 10-12 graded homework assignments and/or quizzes, three hourly
tests, and a Final exam.
