On 7/13/98 we went to room 308 and we tested the the
volume, weight and absorbance of Basic Red dye using Pipetts. To
mesure Volume we chose to use 100 mL of the red dye. To mesure
weight we tared the scale then added 100mL and recorded the
weight. We repeated this 5 times and recorded each weight then
found the mean. To find the Absorbance we placed the tube of die
in a machine, then measured the absorbance and recorded it. We
then found the mean. Then we put it all in a computer and found
our accuracy. It was 6 and 8 %. (which is good)!
