Welcome back to another fall semester and all the associated change that occurs as each school year begins. Our involvement with our professional organizations is gearing up also. The fall IRMC meeting will be held at DePauw University on October 29th. Janet Teeguarden will host and Connie Bollinger has planned two interesting sessions.

The Annual Conference of AMATYC will also be held this fall, November 18-21 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This year for the first time there will be Associate Emblems displayed on "flags". (Our emblem is at the top of this newsletter.) If you have funds to assist with the cost of registration, travel and lodging, this is an excellent conference to attend with sessions on many various topics.

A special thanks to Ed Gallo as outgoing president for his years of service.
