Monday, May 20: Welcome to MA 153!
  • Introduction to the course and discussion of course policies.   
  • Note this course uses the Connally text (shown at the right), while other sections of MA 153 are using the Larson text. In Fall 2002 all sections of MA 153 will use Connally. Our section is just getting a jump start on this initiative.

Due Tuesday, May 21: Read: Sections 1.1 & 1.2
Do: Section 1.1 -- 1, 4, 6 through 10, 18, 20, 21 
Due Wednesday, May 22: Read: Sections 1.3, 2.1 & 2.2
Do: Section 1.2 -- 3, 4, 11, 15, 16, 19 and Section 1.3 -- 4 through 9, 15
Due Thursday, May 23: Read: Sections 2.3 & 3.1
Do: Section 2.1 -- 3,8, 13, 14, 17 and Section 2.2 -- 5, 13, 14, 16, 19, 21, 25 and Chapter 2 Review 4, 9, 17. Be prepared for QUIZ 1 on Chapter 1
Due Tuesday, May 28: Read: rest of Chapter 2 and 3.1 to 3.3 
Do: Section 2.3 -- 1 through 4, 6 through 14, 19, 20 and Section 3.1 -- 1 through 4, 9, 11.
Be prepared for QUIZ 2 on Chapter 2
