Each assignment will be worth 5% of your final grade. 1 point per day will be deducted for late submissions. (Total: 15 points) Click here for the list of take home assignments. In Class Assignments Since this is a hands-on class, we shall be doing several projects during class hours. We will do a total of seven in-class projects (exercises and cases), each of which will count towards 5% of your grade. You will be expected to work on these projects during class hours and submit them to the instructor. If, for some reason, you are absent from class, you may submit the class project during the following class without penalty. Later submissions will be penalized (2 points per class period). Please note that it is your responsibility to find out the nature of the assignment and its due date. (Total: 35 points) Click here to find a list of current in-class assignments. Examination You will be expected to give a comprehensive final examination on the last day of class which shall be worth 50% of your final grade. The exam shall be one hour long and shall be mostly hands-on. (Total: 50 points) A score of 90% or more will earn you an A grade; 80-89% a B, 70-79% a C, & 60-69 a D. A Score of less than 60% will result in an F. This scheme may be altered at the discretion of the professor. Three Rules |
