Grading Policies: Please refer to the Students Handbook for an explanation of academic dishonesty in assignments and examinations. If it is determined that a student’s assignment/examination is not the result of his or her own work, a grade of zero shall be given to that assignment/examination. Assignments must be handed over in time. Late assignments shall result in a deduction of points. Please remember that the labs may be crowded at times. Do not wait till the last moment to do your assignment. Unavailability of university PC’s will not be considered an acceptable excuse for late submissions. An "incomplete" will be given in this course only under rare circumstances such as extended illness. Lab Policies: IPFW provides networked labs of PC’s in various locations (the Open Access Computing Labs are located in Kettler 204A, 217; 217D; Engineering Technology 305; Neff B71, B73. Science G15; and Helmke Library (first floor).; check out the web page of the Information Technology Services for a complete schedule and a variety of other student resources). You may use these labs at your convenience during their hours of operation. The professor will not be present at the labs and it is unlikely that the lab supervisor will be able to assist you with the assignments. Please expect to work on your own. Your instructor will be available during the office hours to help you with any problems or questions. If you are unable to make it to school during office hours, you may schedule an appointment for an alternate time. |
