Research topic: Worked on identifying a candidate material that would be used for molding aluminum die casting using the DMD machine. DMD is a laser based fabrication technology that produces dense products from ground up using powdered metal. DMD is an integration of five major technologies namely CAD, CAM, laser, powder metallurgy, and sensors. The selection of the powdered material is decided using the principles of Design of Experiments and Response Surface Methodology.

Market study and analysis was done for the various companies around the Jefferson County, KY to increase operational efficiency and decrease energy costs, while reducing emissions of greenhouse gases that contribute to the risks of climate change with the use of CHP system.

B-Tech project � Gas turbine maintenance scheduling
The project work was done at Cochin refineries ltd, India. The work involved scheduling of work force and inventory management of the turbine parts. The scheduling was done during the major shutdown of 22MW GE gas turbine in the year 1996.
