Course Description
Cr. 3. P: 352. Analysis of contemporary issues in communication law. Research into selected problems concerning the law and its impact on both face-to-face and mass communication.

Course Objectives
At the conclusion of the course, students will be able:

  1. To define copyright and intellectual property;
  2. To articulate the philosophical and pragmatic bases for copyright;
  3. To identify the unique problems that arise from digitalization of intellectual property; and
  4. To propose solutions for copyright in a digital age
  5. .

2. All assignments must be turned in. Failure to turn in an assigment will result in a grade of F for the course.
3. No late assignments will be accepted. Due dates are stated in the syllabus.
4. No handwritten assignments will be accepted.
