Not a park, just another small area of trees and grass adjacent to the plaza in front of one of the major concert halls.

A number of small rivers flow through Almaty on thier way from the mountains but their waters never make it to an ocean or sea. Some of their water is diverted in small channels like this, which are used to irrigate parks, flower beds or in one of the city's many fountains.
