This building, called "Chor-Minor" and completed in 1807, is both typical and unusual. It is typical in being build exclusively from sun-baked bricks from local materials, with a high-domed interior and blue-tiled domes topping the towers. It is unusual in having a tall tower at each of its four corners (the smaller building on the left is a later addition). It undoubtedly had a religious purpose when it was built, but is now principally a tourist attraction.
