Finding one's hotel (or "bed-and-breakfast") can be somewhat of a challenge; some do have signs. About the only thing that sets this one apart from the other buildings along the street are the windows facing the street, which were (obviously) recently installed for the comfort of foreigners. A normal residence (which this was when it was built about 150 years ago) would have only a door through the street-front wall. The establishment did have a doorbell, which was necessary since the double entry door was both held closed and locked by a heavy steel bar on the inside.
