My research interests are in statistical genetics and in
particular in developing methods for human complex traits. My current
methodological work is on combining admixture mapping and association
testing for population and family data. I am involved in applied
statistical genetics collaborative projects where we study the vitiligo pigmentation disorder.
I also enjoy teaching mathematics and statistics, high performance computing, and playing with big biological datasets, a.k.a. bionformatics. For my teaching record and evaluations please go to my teaching page.
