THE LOG CABIN

The log cabin was built by a pioneer citizen of Maumee and originally stood at 315 Sophia Street near the Miami and Erie Canal. Originally owned by the James Love family, the cabin was finally presented to the Maumee Valley Historical Society and has been restored through the efforts of Alta Richardson and other volunteers. Restoration includes period furnishings and household tools. The Log Cabin is undoubtedly a step back in time, a must see for children of all ages.*
