THE DEPOTThe depot was built in 1880 by the Toledo and Grand Rapids Railroad and stood at Sophia Street west of Conant Street. Over the course of its history, The Depot was operated by many different railroads and eventually became known as the Maumee Clover Leaf Depot. It was saved from demolition and restored through the efforts of Lewis Tucker and other volunteers. |
