THE TOLEDO ZOO
Although many naturalists have had differing opinions concerning zoos, there are educational factors that cannot be overlooked in this era of diminishing species. While most zoos display a similar range of exhibits, the Toledo Zoo is quite unique and well worth the time. This is especially true if you're disabled or elderly and can't easily go out for a trek through the woods. The Zoo is especially quiet in the winter months and many times winter visitors are treated to sites they wouldn't normally see when the zoo is crowded with summer visitors.
The Toledo Zoo is known as THE WORLD'S MOST COMPLETE ZOO so put your walking shoes on.
There are over 3,000 animals representing 525 different species, but if
you don't have time to see them all, here are just a few things that are a
MUST SEE.
