Awards

In July 1998 Purdue University granted the Key Resource Award to The Wiz for design of the Canal Society of Indiana Web Site

The Links2Go Key Resource award is both exclusive and objective. Fewer than one page in one thousand will ever be selected for inclusion. The Links2Go Key Resource award is completely objective and is based on an analysis of millions of web pages. Analysis is based on how actual page authors index and organize links on their pages.

Links2Go is the result of over 10 person years of research into Machine Learning and Intelligent Agent technology. Once a month, they sample millions of pages from the World Wide Web and analyze those pages to discover relationships between tens of millions of links and thousands of cross-reference topics. Links2Go provides an interface to these relationships allowing websurfers to browse links to topic, find links and topics related to an interesting link, and to search for links and topics.

For each topic Links2Go selects at most 50 of the most representative links. These are the "Key Resources" for the topic.
